In case of forced liquidation of a bank, the owner of a bank account / deposit receives a guarantee compensation within the maximum amount of the guarantee compensation The state insure for all deposits and bank accounts for one depositor in each of the banks is: up to 10 million tenge - on deposits in national currency, up to KZT 5 million - on deposits in foreign currency (in equivalent, at the exchange rate established at the date of entry into force of a court decision on the forced liquidation of a member bank). If the depositor has several guaranteed deposits, different in types and currency in one bank, the amount of the state guarantee does not exceed 10 million tenge.
